Deputies Receive Commendations

Deputy Sheriffs Scott Pippin and Luke Werts were recognized on December 22, 2011 for exemplary performance of their duties during 2011. Deputy Pippin received a commendation for his actions during the response of an armed robbery, while Deputy Lukes was commended for rescuing a drug induced driver from a suicide attempt. Sheriff Jered Shofner said “The actions of Deputy Pippin and Deputy Werts exemplify our core values of professionalism and integrity. Their actions likely saved lives.”
